Tziah Coli is a multi-hyphenate creative who prides herself on being an art-ivist, self-defined as an artist who understands and embraces their vocation as a change-maker and disrupter. Through theatre, vocal performance, TV and film, poetry, screenwriting, and prose, she is committed to bridging art and activism as imaginative, revolutionary, and transformative work.

in truth & service
In May 2025, Tziah received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts. The University motto, “In Truth and Service,” has been a core guiding principle for Tziah’s artistry: relentlessly seeking the truth of each story and pledging her service to each character.
During her tenure, she graced the stage as Shameka Hoeclean in Rhyme Deferred and Maude Lynn Albans in The House That Will Not Stand. She spent her summers refining her craft by attending British American Drama Academy: Midsummer in Oxford (2024) and Signature Theatre's Overtures, where she received the Andrew A. Isen Young Artist Gift (2023). Tziah was honored for her zeal at the annual Owen Dodson “Weenie” Awards, receiving the Booked and Busy Student Choice Award (2024)
and the Collaborative Visionary Award (2025).
Off-stage, she demonstrated her leadership capabilities as the President of Divine, Intelligent, Versatile Artists - The Society for Women in the Arts, Inc., and a Program Assistant in Dean Phylicia Rashad’s Summer Arts @ HU Program.
Outside of HU, Tziah has swung/understudied throughout the DMV. From the Helen Hayes Award-winning productions of FELA! (Olney Theatre Center) and The Untitled, Unauthorized Hunter S. Thompson Musical (Signature Theatre), written by Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis, to the Helen Hayes recommended Young Americans (1st Stage). In March 2026, she made her TYA debut in the world premiere of Midiculous by Dwayne Lawson-Brown and Drew Anderson (Keegan Theatre).
